Aging With Purpose

For seniors, retirees, and the transitions that come with a long, well-lived life.

Retirement is often described as an ending. In my experience it is a threshold — and one that too few people are given help crossing. The calendar empties, roles that defined you fall away, health asks for more attention, and friends begin to go on ahead of you.

As a Board-Certified Gerontological Nurse with more than thirty years in healthcare, I have spent my career with older adults. This work is not an afterthought for me; it is where my training runs deepest. Aging With Purpose is coaching for seniors and retirees who are not finished — who want this season to hold meaning, connection, dignity, and hope.

This is not medical care and it is not a substitute for your physicians. It is a steady partnership for the parts of aging that no prescription addresses.

What sessions look like

90 minutes
Life Season Session

We look honestly at where you are — health, home, family, faith, finances of time and energy — and name what you want this season to be about.

60 minutes
Purpose Sessions

Ongoing conversations on identity after career, staying connected, managing health routines, grief, legacy, and daily rhythms that keep body and spirit strong.

60 minutes
Family Conversation

An optional session with an adult child or spouse present, to align on care wishes, independence, and how to support you without taking over.

30 minutes
Check-In Call

A shorter touchpoint between sessions — helpful after an appointment, a move, or a hard week.

Who it's for

  • Retirees asking what comes next, and who they are now that work is behind them
  • Older adults managing chronic conditions who want to live well, not just manage symptoms
  • Seniors facing widowhood, grief, or a shrinking circle of friends
  • Those weighing downsizing, relocation, driving, or a move to assisted living
  • Spouses and adult children carrying caregiving alongside their own aging
  • Anyone who wants faith and practical wisdom in the same conversation

When another path fits better

  • Medical care, medication management, or emergency needs — I complement your care team, I do not replace it
  • Acute mental health crisis, which needs licensed clinical care

Coaching complements — but does not replace — medical or mental health treatment. I'm glad to help you find the right resource.
